Mohel book of Ballenstedt from 1832-1864. The mohel is Zekl ben Leyb of Ballenstedt. On pp. 26a-26b there is a list of children who were circumcized in Kempen, 1904-1906, by the mohel Kowalski (first name not given). The mohol book is bound with Sod ha-Shem, with the commentary of Sharvi{.t ha-Zahav (Vienna, 1814) by Rabbi David Lida, of Mayence and later of Amsterdam. The book was originally published in Amsterdam, 1680. It contains the service for berit milah as well as other prayers for the child and discussions of the laws of berit milah.
